1. FMYSD/BOI Sixty-Day App Development Challenge For Young Nigerians 2023

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in partnership with the Bank of Industry invites Nigerian youth to participate in the 2nd National Sixty-Day App Development Challenge.The Sixty-Day App challenge is aimed at engaging young Nigerians in designing a mobile application to improve a range of processes and increase the level of accessibility to services available to the citizenry.

2. BBC National Short Story Award 2023

To enter the BBC National Short Story Award with Cambridge University, submit original fiction no longer than 8,000 words. Writers entering the BBC NSSA must have a previous record of publication of creative writing in the UK.

3. International Women Day Conference 2023 Pitch Competition (N1,000,000)

This one-day intensive conference provides female entrepreneurs the opportunity to meet with other successful female entrepreneurs who are strategic and brilliant innovative thinkers; the event will have female investors and female entrepreneurs engage in conversation and form mutually beneficial connections.

5. Blackink Writing Competition 2023

Serendipity Institute for Black Arts and Heritage and Writing East Midlands are looking for creative writers from the African and African Caribbean Diaspora to submit short stories for the 2023 edition of BlackInk Writing Competition.

6. Pen to Print Poetry Competition 2023

The winner will receive a trophy at the Pen to Print Awards in 2023. The winning poem will be published in Pen to Print’s Write On! publications and an audio version will be recordTheed and broadcast on Write On! Audio and available on The Pen to Print Website.

7. WIPO Global Awards Competition for Entrepreneurs 2023

The Global Awards competition aims to encourage the commercialization of IP assets by rewarding enterprises that make a smart use of intellectual property and to address the need to build a more inclusive global innovation ecosystem, which better harnesses the huge innovative and creative energies of entrepreneurs, youth and women.
