A TRILOGY BY ADEDAYO ADEYEMI AGARAU

a short letter to America

demons love walk Florida,
they love to enter the body of a whore
from the back,  they lap her nipples
and tie her to the bed,
they say her skin is a country at the edge of falling,
they say her anus is the mouth

of a sea,  seashells; their dicks,
will uncover the memories of dark longings,
they will open the whore’s mouth and stuff her,
they will compile their dark desires and make this city a mess,
and this slut will bear their child,

that child will trump
this country.

Breathing in a city that is not yours

a boy once burnt in a fire whose tide
was the skin of splitters, broken bottles
folding a liquid of hate and dismay in their belly,
this boy was black, darker than the colour of ash,
his dreams are begging to breath,  breath, breath,
this boy is in between the laps of an orange demon,
his tongue is a war tearing the media into cities in a staccato of gunfire

how do you bid goodbye to living
when you see life in the throat of a country
who walks out on you like the shadows of your father,
how do you chase the butts of demons
when the night wear skimpy things
and opens for you vagina dripping with memories
how do you find a city’s joy when women are gnashing
their teeth and old men are learning to crawl into the eyes of troubled souls
how do you breath in a city
where white bitches are dreamers
and black men who carve the night with their teeth
are negroes chased into paths of exile.

sometimes, the hypocrisy of a country
is the shame of the world,
america, breath in your doom,  breath, breath.

fucked
(for a country begging for doom)

she, a white lady, walked into his room
to suck the waters from his unquenchable doom,
he touched her once and chill ran down her spine
then he measured the depth of her lateral line,
one finger in,  she moaned,
two in,  she became a river,
he lowered himself to mob her pussy,
and dangled his tongue around her libia,
this woman just came again.

He spanked her, and she let out a war,
he rubbed his dick on her vortex
and prepared a journey into the country in between her thigh,
her nipples were up like night walkers
staging a protest in foreign cities:
this had been the plan all along,
to scatter the field and leave her empty.

he shuddered in the cap,
placed a finger on the clit
walked into the street
and the whore shut her eyes

this man trumped her
on and on and on
she wanted a war
and we hope she survives
the momentum of his bad fuck,

fucking orange demon!
