On the 21st of April, 2020, the news of her death broke out through a series of Facebook posts made by her friend, Solomon Sebastine as a tribute. Since then, there has been a lot of questions concerning how she died and the background story of what her life was right before she decided to take her own life.

Adeleke Rachel Tioluwani is gone, just the same way Nigerian poet, Chukwuemeka Akachi and 4 other Nigerian writers and students had committed suicide in 2019.
