Bazaar Short Story Competition 2020

A new opportunity for writers has emerged. Bazaar is organising a competition for original fictions.

 

 

It’s known for publishing work of everyone from Virginia Woolf and Thomas Hardy, even to recently authors like Ali Smith and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

 

 

It has successfully launched its annual short story competition. Coming with judges that were present in the previous edition.

 

 

Judges: Bernadine Evaristo, Alexandra Pringle, Caroline Michel and Erica Wagner.

 

 

To enter: submit 2,200 words on the theme ‘Summer’ to shortstory@harpersbazaar.co.uk .

 

 

The winner gets to spend two night stay at Grantley Hall in Yorkshire and their work published
