A lot has been going on recently about the situation of things as regards the homeless Nigerians in China amidst demands for an explanation on why China lied and people died due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nigerians in China are being pursued and hated, evident in series of videos and tweets being released online. The hashtag, #ChinaMustExplain and #ChinaLiedAndPeopleDied have been trending on Twitter after some footages were released on situation of things in China.

A Twitter user, Rosen Velt tweeted with an attached video;

However, a team of Chinese medical professionals on Wednesday arrived at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Nigeria flying in medical equipment worth about 1.5 million US dollars.

The Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, Zhou Pingjian, whiles welcoming the 15-man team said it is time to “reciprocate the friendship and kindness” offered by Nigeria.

The value of the equipment, medical supplies is about $1.5 million, and including the other cost like the chartered air flight, it’s around $2 million, the ambassador disclosed.

Meanwhile the situation of things on how Nigerians abroad are being treated is nothing worth the smile. A Twitter user, Onwubiko Uche wrote;

Nigerians believing the lies China told has cost the world a lot of lives are demanding an explanation on why China spread the virus to the world and then want to become the Messiah of Africans.
