Date not a poet,
Less they paint you in their words.
A lover of unnatural affection,
Hands of unseen wording weaves
and metaphoric similes.
Poets are insane freaks
I have one of them in my street.

Date not a poet,
Less they abuse your sense,
Like their poetic licence.
They live addicted to poetry
More than their families
Date not a budding poet
For they are mentally possessed.

Do not wait upon them,
they are poetic prophets.
You might be the jerk they write,
on the wall of people’s heart.
Date not a fantastic poet,
For they will make you wilt
while you shed tears on the street.

IV
They write and snore in sleep
they speak to the deaf with muse
the globe is short for them to travel,
million miseries they unravel.
Blame not a poet if they care not,
for they are at east when you sit at north.
Their melancholy can drive you nut.

V
Date not a poet,
You are their irony at night,
Euphemism in the morning.
You will never get them right,
they smile when others are mourning
You might end up widowed,
For they fight with word and die by sword.
