Delta State Waste Management Recruitment 2022/ How to Apply

The Delta State Waste Management Board was created in the year 2004. The board is saddled amongst other things with the responsibilities of ensuring a clean, hygienic and healthy environment with the ultimate objective of avoiding the incidences of epidemics in the State.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Delta State Waste Management Board. The positions are:

Job Title:  Environmental Health Officer -(Salary Grade level 08)

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Degree in Environmental Health Science from a recognized University
•  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharged Certificate or letter of exemption.

Job Title: Typist Grade III – (Salary Grade Level 04)

Qualifications

• Candidates possessing a minimum of SSCE Certificate
• Any of the recognised certificates in Typewriting at 25 words per Minute

Job Title:  Motor Driver-(Salary Grade Level 03)

Qualifications

•  Candidates must possess the First School Leaving Certificate
• Valid Driver’s license (Class ‘C’) (iii) Candidates with experience in the driving of Heavy-Duty Vehicles such as Bulldozer, Payloader, Lowbed, Tippers etc.

Job Title  Messenger – (Salary Grade Level 02)

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess the First School Leaving Certificate

Job Title: Security Guard II – (salary Grade Level 03)

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess the First School Leaving Certificate;
• and Evidence of training in the Nigerian Police or any of the disciplined services.

Job Title:  Cleaner (Salary Grade level 01)

Qualifications

• Able-bodies candidate

Other Conditions:

• Birth Certificates or sworn affidavit
• Local Government Area of Origin
• Medical fitness
• Applicants must be of good character and must not have been convicted of any criminal offence
• Candidates must not be more than 35years of age

Note: Any certificate(s) or qualification(s) not declared at the time of recruitment cannot be presented for career progression in the Board at a later date.

Condition Of Service: The conditions of service are as applicable in the Delta State Public Service
