Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Aliko Dangote Foundation – VDMA Technical Training Programme for Nigerians who are graduates of technical college for a period of 18 months.
The initiative offers high-quality education and training to young Nigerians seeking to acquire skills in Mechanical and electrical Technology. The training programme is based on the German model of dual track vocational training.

Details
The programme seeks to train young Nigerians in the field of mechanical and electrical engineering on theoretical and practical aspects as well as expose them to industrial work experience in allied companies. It will also provide the trainees with high-standard facilities with modern equipment, learning tools and hostel accommodation. Successful applicants stand to benefit from NWS’ long-standing experience in industry-ready vocational training.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Technical Training Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be between the age bracket of 16-22 years.
- Must possess 5 credits in O’ Level Sciences.
- Must be in possession of one of the following certificates: WAEC (SSCE), NABTEB (NTC), NECO (SSCE), school testimonial.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English language.
- Must be a fast learner.
