Details

The Fellowship program aims to contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve journalism and seeks to encourage research in media and other fields of journalism, as well as to provide fellows with the opportunity to learn through practical experience within the AlJazeera Media Network. The fellowship’s objectives include to encourage innovation and research, provision of an opportunity for journalists and researchers to be immersed in AlJazeera Media Network’s work culture and environment, and to learn about its journalistic practices.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the AlJazeera Media Institute Fellowship Programme, applicants must meet the following:

• Applicants must be professional journalists.
• Applicants can be Arabic and non-Arabic speakers. Non-Arabic speakers must be fluent in English language.
• Must demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
