International students can now apply for Amsterdam Merit Scholarships 2022/23. The scholarships are targeted at non-EU/EEA Students who wish to begin a degree study programme at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in the 2022/2023 academic year.
The University of Amsterdam (UvA) aims to attract the world’s brightest students to its international classrooms. Outstanding students from outside the EU/EEA can apply for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship (AMS).

The Amsterdam Merit Scholarships is a yearly offer by the University of Amsterdam and targeted at high performing students from outside the EU/EEA countries. Scolarships are offered under the following faculties/graduate schools.

- Psychology
- Science

Eligibility
Students who hold a non-EU/EEA passport and have applied for a degree programme at the University of Amsterdam may submit an application for an Amsterdam Merit Scholarship.
How to Apply
Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Offices of the Graduate Schools. Deadlines for the AMS differ per Faculty or Graduate School.
