#10DaysofBodyTalk is a social media campaign on Body Image and Self-Esteem developed by Dr Ameaka Fatima in 2017. It consists of 10 Topics or ‘Days’ spread over a more extended period. The campaign includes sharing posters, experiences, quotes and write-ups on several aspects of Body image, Self-Esteem and sexual health, and having an interactive platform for conversations and peer learning.
Its second session is carried out under the HerVoice: Aloud|Allowed Project supported by the HerVoiceFund.

Want to fall in love with yourself and boost your self-esteem while learning the ins and outs of your body??. Want to learn what it takes to be a Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Advocate and give young people a voice where it matters?. Join a fantastic community of girls and young women from Cameroon and all over Africa for #10DayofBodyTalk, Session 2. Open to girls and women aged 18 to 29.
The Organisers: BodyTalk International
BodyTalk was founded to help girls with low self-esteem and poor body image and give young women a forum for peer learning through shared experiences about their bodies and moderated discussions about their health and other related topics.
We aim to educate young girls and women on positive body image and sexual and reproductive health and promote women’s rights. Our focus areas are Body Image, Self-esteem and Health.
With over 240 members all over Africa, it is created by women for women and is based in Cameroon.

Eligibility
- Be a girl or woman aged 15 to 29
- Be resident within Cameroon or another African country
- Previous interest in HIV and history of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights related activities preferred but not required
