This annual essay contest for young people is organized by the Goi Peace Foundation based in Japan.
The competition is open to anyone up to 25 years old. There are two age categories:
- Children (up to 14 years old)
- Youth (15-25 years old)

Eligibility Criteria
- This year’s theme is “Youth Creating a Peaceful Future”.
- Essays must be 700 words or less in English or French, or 1600 characters or less in Japanese.
- Essays must be original and unpublished. Only one entry per person is accepted.
- The competition is free to enter.
