Split Lip Magazine is accepting entries from writers and artists for its special issue titled Summertime. They are going to pay their standard rate of $50 per piece.
Split Lip Magazine is a voice-driven literary journal with a pop culture twist. They publish online monthly and in print annually. They accept fiction (flash and short stories), memoir, poetry, art, and photography. The issue is an effort to promote Black voices.
Guidelines for Submission
- Entry fee is not required
- They accept poetry, memoir, flash fiction, fiction, art
- Theme for submission is Summertime!!
- Make your submissions as early as possible
- Deadline: (see below this page)
- Issue will be launched on June 15, 2021
- Word limits: 1000 words for flash fiction; 2000 words for memoir; 1000-3000 words for fiction
- Please submit only poem (for poetry), and only one submission for other genres.
- Payment: $50 per piece
