University of Auckland Scholarships is not fully funded but valued at $10,000 each for both postgraduate and undergraduate studies. University of Auckland Scholarships is about 50 Scholarships awarded yearly for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

The University of Auckland Scholarships program was founded in the year 2016. The main objective of the scholarship is to attract fresh international scholars of great talents to enrol in the undergraduate or postgraduate study for a year or more at the University of Auckland.

The University of Auckland is New Zealand’s foremost institution of higher education in the QS World University Rankings of 2020. The institution is placed 81^st globally, and also the only New Zealand university in the top 100.

Benefits of University of Auckland Scholarships

University of Auckland Scholarships will provide recipients with the benefits below:

• The amount of Scholarships available to be awarded annually is 50 and will be valued at $10,000 each for postgraduate and undergraduate study.
• The stipend will be paid as a compulsory fees credit for the first semester of study at the University of Auckland. Compulsory fees are those only connected to the relevant program of study, plus the Student Services Fee.

Eligibility for University of Auckland Scholarships

To qualify for University of Auckland Scholarships, the applicant must satisfy the prerequisites below:

• Required Language: English.
• Eligible Countries: All countries in the world.
• Students enrolling in a Research Master’s program are not qualified to apply for Scholarships at the University of Auckland.
• Undergraduate scholars from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) and New Zealand secondary-school graduates are not qualified to apply for this Scholarship.
• The scholars must be enrolled as “on Campus” registrations. Scholars enrolling as distance education students will not be qualified to apply.
• Foreign students are the ones who are neither citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia.
• Scholarships at the University of Auckland may not be deferred until the following semester. A new Scholarship application will be required.
• The University of Auckland Scholarships can be acquired with any other scholarship
• The applicants have been foreign students that applied for Masters (taught) of 120 points or more or an undergraduate degree (with secondary or post-secondary qualifications gotten overseas)
