Like the gazelle of the south,
you are benignant.
Sonnets, in standard lines, would tell tales of your beingness.
You are the melody from the strings of the violin that awakens my adrenaline, my first instinct.
You are the sweetness that drips from the crack of the lips of goddesses, the hand-picked beard that rests on the flawless jaw of a wise man. Your name is honey in my mouth.
I believe in love and vows, and as we sit beneath the shades of the heavens, let us say our names and pay what we owe every single star shimmering for our sake tonight.
