INEC Election 2023 Training Date For All Election Officials

In today’s Latest INEC Election 2023 recruitment news, we will be updating you on the date for cascade training of all categories of election officials and new dates for the training of SPOs in preparation for the 2023 general election. So keep reading!

1. The Commission at its meeting on Thursday 1st December 2022 approved the conduct of the Cascade Training for all categories of Election Officials for the 2023 General Election.

2. The training will now take place in the state and Local Government Areas as follows:

  • Supervisory Presiding Officer Training (SPO): 11th – 12th February 2023 (2 Days).
  • Presiding Officer/Assistant Presiding Officer Training (PO/APO): 14th -16th February 2023 (3 Days).
  • Collation Officer/Returning Officer (CO/RO) Training: 21st – 22nd February 2023 (2 Days).

3. The Commission, through The Electoral institute (TE) will deploy its Trainer, Supervisors and Monitors to assist the state to ensure the success of this critical Training.

4. The Commission has also remitted all Logistics for the seamless conduct of the above-mentioned training to the states.

5. According to INEC, the Timelines ‘stated above supersede any previously communicated Timelines by the Commission.

6. The Commission, through the Electoral institute will continue to Communicate all necessary information to the states through their State Training Officers
