19 days after the shortlist was released, Glass Door Initiative finally comes to a close by declaring the winners of its Poetically Written Prose Contest 2018 with  Veralyn, Mary Ann and Nasiba beating the likes of Toby Abiodun, Ogwiji Ehi, Nome Emeka, Wale Ayinla and a number of others to bag the prize.

According to the statement released on the website,

After thorough assessment of about 180 submitted works, the Glass Door Team is delighted to announce the prize winners for the 2nd Edition of the Poetically Written Prose Contest.

  • 1st Prize ─ THE ODOUR OF DEATH by Veralyn Chinenye
  • 2nd Prize ─ HOW TO MOURN A LOVER by Shade MaryAnn Olaoye
  • 3rd Prize ─ DEAR DEAN by Nasiba Babale

The prize winners will be awarded N30,000, N15,000 and N10,000 respectively.
