Npower News: N-Agro Physical verification and NASIMS Portal System Errors Update

The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification has today entered its second day and it’s now clear to everyone that the process is true and has commenced.

This has come with some challenges which are currently being addressed. Patience, not panic is highly advised and everyone will be verified within the space of 2weeks, from 14th June 2022 to 25th June 2022. If there is a need for extension, it will be extended for the benefit of all Npower Batch C Stream 2 shortlisted Applicants.

How Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification Venue is chosen

Many shortlisted applicants of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme are worried about how they were posted away from their current State and LGA of Residence to another State and LGA.

Recall that the data being used for the Batch C Npower Programme was generated in 2020 when the Registration was made.

A shortlisted applicant who was “Resident” and registered for the Npower Programme in Lagos State in 2020 but is currently Resident in Kaduna State, will be posted to Lagos State which was his/her place of Resident at the time of Registration. This affects both the venue for Physical Verification and the Place of Primary Assignment.

What an applicant in this situation can do is bear the expenses of going for the Physical Verification and seek “Redeployment” after being “Deployed.”

To cut the story short, all beneficiaries of the Batch C Npower Programme are posted in their States and Local Government of Residence which were entered during Npower Batch C Registration in 2020, both as Physical Verification Venue and Location of Place of Primary Assignment  (PPA).

If a shortlisted applicant of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme is posted in the same State as Registered in 2020 but a different LGA as registered in 2020  for the Physical Verification, the applicant should do the following:

1. Go to your LGA of Residence registered in 2020 to check your name. If your Name is there, no need to go to another Local Government.

2. If your Name is not there, go to the new LGA and check your Name.

3. If your name appeared in the new LGA, you can choose to get verified there or contact NASIMS through 018888340, 018888189, 092203102 or 018888148 for an update on your Profile.

N-Agro Physical Verification

There have been complaints by some of the Batch C Stream 2 shortlisted applicants under the N-Agro Category of the Batch C Npower Programme.

In the Batch C Npower Programme, there are two categories of N-Agro Npower beneficiaries. The N-Agro beneficiaries who applied with Degree and NYSC are in the Graduate N-Agro Category while those who applied with SSCE are in the Non-Graduate Category.

The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification ongoing is for Graduate Categories only. Hence, Non-Graduate N-Agro applicants will not see their Physical Verification Venue.

Graduate N-Agro shortlisted applicants who have not seen the Venues of their Physical Verification should keep checking their Profiles on the NASIMS Portal www.nasims.gov.ng.

Status Changes in NASIMS Portal

There have been a series of Status Changes recently observed in the NASIMS Portal www.nasims.gov.ng which are confusing to both shortlisted and Yet-to-be shortlisted Applicants.

Even some yet-to-be shortlisted applicants can now see “Shortlisted” under the “Overview” section and “Applicant” under the “Verification” section of their NASIMS Profiles.

Some shortlisted applicants’ Status also changed to “Beneficiary” while some didn’t. Kindly note that you are not a Npower beneficiary until you have been Deployed.

At this stage of Physical Verification, all these Changes do not matter. Go and do your Physical Verification and be Deployed. Once you are getting alert, all these don’t matter.

The changes are System errors which resulted from the Updates currently being made on the NASIMS Portal. This has also changed some data of the existing beneficiaries. Kindly ignore it for now. It will be fixed.

Batch C Stream 2 Non-Graduate Physical Verification

The ongoing Physical Verification is for Graduate Categories only. The Non-Graduate Trainees will be verified at their respective training venues and camps.

Unverified Batch C1 Shortlisted Applicants

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development have directed Batch C Stream 1 shortlisted applicants who, due to one situation or the other, did not participate in the Npower Batch C Stream 1 Physical Verification in 2021 to join the Npower Batch C Stream 2 shortlisted Applicants and get verified.
