Every month in the Npower Programme comes with unique and interesting packages as the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development intensify efforts to uplift 100 Million Nigerians through the Social Investment Programme (NSIP).
The month of July 2022 witnessed several activities in the Npower Programme which included the payment of Npower Batch C Stream 1 April and May Stipends, Npower Batch C Stream 2 Final selection, among others.
While Batch A, B, C1 and C2 heighten hope in the Npower Programme, here are Five things the beneficiaries should expect from the Ministry in August 2022.
1. Deployment of Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries
So many rumours roared in the Social Media space in the Month of July 2022 about the deployment of the selected and successful beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme.

The rumours, among others, which purported for the download of the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Deployment letters are false as the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries have not been deployed nor the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Deployment Letters available for download.
However, ceteris paribus, the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Deployment will commence in the month of August 2022 while Deployment Letters will also be available for download.
The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Deployment will largely take place in August 2022. Work officially kicks off in September while September Payment is expected before mid October 2022.
2. Payment of June and July Stipend
The Npower Batch C Stream 1 June and July 2022 Stipend Payment will be in August 2022. As also expected, August 2022 Stipends will be paid in September 2022 which will mark the official end of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.
3: Official End of Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme
The Month of August 2022 is marked as the official end date for the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme as it clocks the 1-year maximum duration of the programme.
However, all outstanding Stipends can not be cleared in the Month of August as the issues of failed Payment, and August Stipend will spill over the month of September 2022.

4. Possibility of Extention of Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme:
The Month of August 2022 will witness high rumour on the Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.
The Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme is not part of the design of the Batch C Npower Programme.
However, the political atmosphere suggests that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme may be extended till after the 2023 General election, as was the case of the Batch A Npower Programme in 2018/2019.
5. Statement on Npower NEXIT Loan
The yearning for the disbursement of the CBN/AGSMEIS NEXIT Loan received poor attention in the Month of July 2022.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development did not issue any official statement regarding the NEXIT Loan disbursement in July 2022 as purported in many blogs.
However, it is expected that the Ministry would issue a Statement to address the questions of the exited Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries on the NEXIT Loan Programme in the Month of August 2022.
