Who could talk this freedom than the just freed African eagle?

Even the rusted roofs are evidences of our persecutions
the beliefs that skinned our skins and took our freedom
how we smiled heat till it smoked us into a sulfuric solution…

Rejoice! Feeble hands, rejoice and let cold drums and frail pots roll
the sun has come bountifully to bless our eroded lands with fertility

Now, I know why the caged African eagle sang
for that were the songs that brought back our victory from exile.
