See…
I used to have this flower
so beautiful like the hibiscus
and
radiant like the sunflower.
It had a name
of which I’m afraid to share with you.
Life was beautiful
knowing I had a precious flower
and I made sure to show off what I got
Little did I know
that…
I got the bees staring
One day…
my pollen got so high
and the bees came, un dopo un altro.
My flower was stolen,
my pollen littered all over,
It was a night to remember.
See…
If I, could turn back
the hands of time
I would have made my flower
into a weapon with spiky petals
leaving scars on the body
of the bees that came for it.
