Six secondary school students won Ph.D. scholarships and millions of Naira for winning a competition.

Six Taidob College students from Abeokuta, Ogun state, received a total of 5 million Naira and a complete PhD scholarship for their outstanding performance in the finals of the Beautiful Ones are Born (BOAB) competition for both private and public secondary schools in Nigeria.

About 30 schools competed for the ultimate prize, and Taidob college students from Ogun state took home the grand prize of 5 million naira and a complete scholarship to the PhD level, defeating 174 other students.

The tournament, held at the Human Resources Development Center in Lagos, fulfilled the expectations of the six kids.

Olajide Kikiope, Ojelere Fisayomi, Sobiye Sharon, Omeike Raphel, Alao Elijah, and Akinwunmi Joshua were the talented students who represented the institution at the debate and gave credit to both the school and Ogun state.

While thanking the top students, Dr Akintoye Akindele, Chairman of Platform Capital, stated that investing in children means investing in the future and that the tournament was created to inspire and challenge secondary school students as African kings and queens.
