Yet another prize by the Nigeria LNG. However, this aims to extol the virtues of science and their application towards the alleviation of problems.
Like other categories, this award was instituted in the year 2004. The prize aimed to recognize outstanding scientific achievements by Scientists, achievements, that looked towards building a better Nigeria.
This year, the theme is: Innovations in Sustainable Food Security.
The winner of this prize would receive an award of $100,000.
The award is open to scientists worldwide, irrespective of nationality, who are involved in the application of science to proffer innovations in sustainable food security.
All entries must be received by midnight (Greenwich Meridian Time), April 30, 2020.
Winner will be announced to the public in September, 2020 and presented in October, 2020.
