WHEN I’M GONE
By Tukur Loba Ridwan and Micheal Ace
I
A world is just not enough
For my quill to spit or cough
But the trails of my inklings
On the sands of time shall sink…

In the skulls and chests
Of the ones I would rest
My thoughts, words and talks.
So, let me exhaust my works.
I hope to be so far gone
But not in the hearts of those
Who shouldered my sober words
That at that time, when it’s my turn…
To say goodbye, and bid farewell
Your echoes of weeps and wails
Would pull me back from the hell
Of hereafter, and wish me well.
II
Let the oil slip off the bream
So to glimpse a glimpse of my dream
I shoulder my should and err
So none would be my heir.
To decipher my cipher ciphered
You need a sail in texts deeply hypered
And when am gone before days
I would speak in the freezed depth of space
Taste the venom before the sting
Float my weight before i sink
For once i cross the earthy fringe
Then no more ink in my heart syringe
When i imbue the sands with my blood
and a splash stains the sky above
Then write in caves with the spilled oil
That i the i is gone
