Organizations should submit a proposal detailing how they would organize a program involving youth or youth leaders in the region. Overall, the intent must be to promote peace and reconciliation by involving youth in capacity-building training that they can then share with other youth in their communities.

The purpose of this initiative is to award a limited number of grants to individuals, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and other civil society entities that further the Embassy’s policy goals and strengthen relations between the American and Nigerian peoples.

The deadline for the receipt of applications for funding is July 30, 2020. All applications will be reviewed by the Consulate Grants Committee. Final determinations will be issued by August 30, 2020.
