Despite busy schedule, Lady takes time to Learn UX Writing Online, Becomes Google Certified

A Nigerian lady, Tope Abigail Larayetan has celebrated her recently attained feat as a Google Certified User Experience (UX) Design writer and Digital Marketer.

In her words, while summing up the adventures of the year 2021, Tope talks about her busy schedules as regard school works for her MFA program at , and also her job as a Graduate Assistant for the current Poet Laureate of Virginia, Professor Luisa Igloria.

She wrote;

“2021. I have had a couple of new starts this year, a new degree in a new country while starting a newsletter to document my experiences as an international student in America. Yet, this has been my biggest first.

“I recently made the decision to pivot to User experience (UX) writing as it is a meeting point for two of my many passions, writing and technology. While I have been buried in school work for my MFA program at  and my job as a Graduate Assistant for the Poets Database project with the current Poet Laureate of Virginia, Professor Luisa Igloria; I also commit at least 2-3 hours weekly to learn UX writing.

“I took the Google Digital Marketing course to offer insights about content strategy and navigating search engines as UX writing is essential to the buyer’s journey. I have also completed the first module out of seven of the Google UX Design course as this will ease my understanding of UX writing and communication with all the UX teams I will work with, in the nearest future.
