17 Days To Go | Win $1000 by Submitting For ‘The End Of Our World Short Story Contest’

The End Of Our World Short Story Contest is open for submission and will close on the 31st of August, 2018. Submission and free.
According to the website:
“Aftermath’s focus on climate change and environmental disaster is unapologetically bleak: the editors believe that time is running out for humankind. Through this new venture, they hope to publish cautionary stories and raise the awareness of the dangers the planet is facing.”
“To launch this new publication, the editors of Aftermath have announced an inaugural short story contest. Entry is free and the winner will receive US$1000. There are also prizes for second and third place.”
“Writers are asked to submit a work of fiction between 1500 and 5000 words (though the guidelines indicate that this may be somewhat flexible). The contest is open worldwide but only one entry will be accepted per person. Entries can be written in English or in Dutch and simultaneous submissions are accepted.”
“The winners will be published in the inaugural edition of Aftermath magazine, planned for October 2018, and non-winning entries will also be considered for publication (standard payment rates to apply).”
For further details and to submit, visit the Aftermath website.
