Poetica Magazine is a publication of African Writers Development Trust. The third edition of this magazine features the finest African poets and all things poetry.
According to the Editor in Chief, Isaac Kilibwa,
“I would say, life is a diverse anthology. A sonnet here, a haiku there. A senryu somewhere else and some madness on a given street. (Not to insinuate that free verse is a trade for mad men, not in any way.) Which is why we at Poetica expect to look at your best and weirdest form of expression in the name of poetry. All eyes are welcome, ‘African’ or not but African first and all tales are encouraged, long or short, those about the African experience first.
Turn the pages please to see what Africa has for you this time. Happy reading!
