Ramadan Poem | Day 23: Nobody Wins It All by Zulikha Idris Babalola

NOBODY WINS IT ALL

I’ll dare to look straight at  the sun
I’ll dare to caress its warm ambience or is it hot?
I’ll to wrap it up tight, so tight like a bun
I’ll do all these just to win it all
I’ll dare to spit up at the moon at night
I’ll disrupt its glorious moment as it shines its light
I’ll dare to bring it down and leave it out of sight
It’s a must I win it all
I’ll dare to take a nap in the jungle
To have a quiet time in the midst of frightening rumble
With the deadliest I’ll mumble and bobble
I have to win it all
Let the ocean dare me I’ll whirl it through
The mounts of Persia  and
Rome I’ll move
I’ll work with every gadget and tool
And you will watch me as I win it all
I’ll walk the sky just like I did the earth
I’ll soar high with a sword and a pen
I’ll dare, fend, earn and learn
All my aim is to win it all
Risk it all you want
Break a bone while you hunt
Do and dare if you must
ONLY ALLAH WINS IT ALL
