We understand that some applicants of the Batch C Npower Programme were shortlisted in February 2022and may have done their Biometrics Enrolment.
There was mixed information about these shortlisted applicants then. While NASIMS described them as Batch C Stream 2 Npower Candidates, the Ministry stated that they are Batch C Stream 1 Supplementary Candidates. But once shortlisted is shortlisted, Congratulations!
We also know that some applicants are currently being shortlisted. Some were shortlisted last week while some found out they have been shortlisted just yesterday. More shortlisting is ongoing.
So how do you get to know you have been shortlisted in the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme?
The simple way to know an applicant has been shortlisted for the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme is to follow the guidelines on checking Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting highlighted here.
Kindly note that for now there is no list released anywhere as Shortlisted Candidates for the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme. Do not be deceived.
All applicants of the Batch C Npower Programme should know that Shortlisting is ongoing, and should keep checking.
Announcing the official commencement of the Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting on Saturday, the Ministry also declared Biometric Capturing officially open while encouraging the shortlisted applicants to begin Biometric Enrolment.
Recall that the then shortlisted applicants in February 2022 were told by the Ministry to halt Biometric Enrolment and begin only when they are told to begin.
Now that it has been officially announced, everyone should begin the Biometric Enrolment. However, this does not annul or disqualify the Biometric Enrolment that has been done by these candidates before now.
Note that once Biometric Data is successfully captured, the “Capture Fingerprint” button will change to “Fingerprint Captured”.
Once an applicant checks and finds out he/she has been shortlisted, the applicant should immediately proceed to the nearest Cyber Cafe, especially Cyber Cafes good in WAEC/NECO/JAMB/NYSC Registration, for the finger Print Enrolment.

3. No Deadline for Biometric Enrolment yet
When the Ministry wants to move to another Stage of the Npower Batch C engagement Process, it is always announced and a deadline fixed.
Biometric Enrolment has only commenced and no deadline fixed yet.
4. No date yet fixed for Physical Verification
Before the Physical Verification date will be fixed, a deadline for the end of Biometric Enrolment will first be fixed and announced.
After the Biometric Enrolment, a list of successful candidates will be sent to States/LGAs for Physical Verification. The dates for Physical Verification will vary.
As of now, no date has been fixed for Physical Verification but beneficiaries can see their Physical Verification Venues on display in their NASIMS profiles.
Only those who successfully undergo the Physical Verification will be called Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries.
5. A little more time and Patience needed
Yes, a little more patience is needed as the engagement processes would take a little more time.
Considering the hardship in the country and the high rate of unemployment, being Shortlisted as a Npower beneficiary is no doubt a relief, at least to pave way for proper planning during the one year. This may induce anxiety among the shortlisted applicants.
But managing a large pool of beneficiaries we all know would take time and require some patience from the participants too.
What many do not know is that the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting has been Systematically batched. That’s why the shortlisting and Biometric Enrolment is done bit by bit. This will ensure that the NASIMS Portal www.nasims.gov.ng would not collapse at any point in the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Engagement processes.
While the processes for the engagement of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries are ongoing, we are counting down to the exit of Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries. This time has been pre-calculated.

Batch C Stream 2 can not be engaged especially now that the Batch C Stream 1 is still on the seat. This will complicate data management.
However, the processes for the engagement of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries will be ongoing till August 2022 when the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries will be concluding their 1 year Npower Programme.
By then, their data especially payment data will be removed from the payment platform while that of the Batch C Stream 2 will be fed into the System.
This is the major reason why NASIMS is trying to clear all outstanding Stipends including “FAILED PAYMENTS” within the shortest period of time.
For now, all applicants of the Batch C Npower Programme should be checking if they have been shortlisted, if possible on daily bases; be focused on reliable information; adhere to all official instructions and wait patiently for the time for full engagement in the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme.
