CFWriterz is pleased to announce the call for her December Magazine issue, with the theme, “Dawsk,” a merger of the words, ‘dawn’ and ‘dusk.’
They will consider submissions in the poetry, fiction, and nonfiction categories. The winner receives N100,000 and an e-publishing deal, while the two runner-ups will be awarded e-publishing deals. To enter, submit a fiction or nonfiction prose up to 3,000 words, or a poem of considerable length. Simultaneous submissions are welcome as long as the team is notified of acceptance elsewhere immediately.
CFWriterz’s mandate is to tell the best of African stories and encourage the reading culture of Africans. They publish writings from all over Africa and across various genres.
Prizes:
Cash remuneration of up to N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira).
E-Publishing contract worth N60,000 (Sixty Thousand Naira) for the top 3 entries.
Widespread readership of 7000+ online readers audience worldwide.
Entrants may submit up to 1 previously unpublished poem, and up to 3,000 words for fiction and non-fiction.
Simultaneous submissions are accepted. However, they require a notification if their work is accepted elsewhere. Work in translation is welcome. T
Deadline for Submissions: October 30th, 2019.
The decisions of judges are final and cfwriterz retains the right to accept or reject entries. A nomination process would allow readers to support the decision of judges.
