The The Nigeria Prize for Literature 2020 has commenced the call for entries for its 2020 edition.
Sponsored by the Nigeria LNG, a liquefied natural gas producing company, and liquefied natural gas plant on Bonny Island, Nigeria. The annual prize has run since 2004. The Nigeria Prize for Literature 2020 aims to honour the author of the best book by a Nigerian in the past four years. It has featured, as recipients or winners, the likes of Chika Unigwe, Gabriel Okara, Ahmed Yerima, and so on.

This year, the competition is for Prose Fiction.
It is open for only Nigerian writers. However, their place of residence is not a consideration.
Prize:
The prize for best book is a whooping $100,000. Tasty, right?
Deadline: March 31, 2020.
The winner will be announced and presented to the public in October.
