Home remedies to overcome stubborn pimples and acne in 2020

1) BAKING SODA

Baking soda is one of the most effective home remedies for acne. Quite a number of people use baking soda for skin treatment, baking soda is mixed with a little quantity of water to a paste-like a mixture, applied on the acne infected area and allowed to dry then remove afterwards with warm water.

2) CITRUS FRUITS

Lemon or limes are typical examples of citrus fruits, take half of a lime or lemon and squeeze out the juice, then use cotton wool to apply on the skin and allow to dry, Afterwards rinse off with warm water afterwards. The fruits have antibacterial properties and help in combating and killing bacterial that are embedded in the pores.

3) HONEY

Honey is an essential natural product that has antibacterial properties, it is relatively easier to get and easy to apply. Rinse your face or acne infected area with warm water and apply with cotton wool when the surface is still wet, leave for about 20 to 30 minutes and allow it to dry off, then rinse off with warm water again.

4) ALOE VERA.

The use of aloe vera can be divided into the gel and juice.

Turmeric is thereby advised to be applied with care and it can stain your clothing.

6) GREEN TEA

Another important part of home remedies for acne, use by making a paste out of the green tea leaf and honey then apply to the face for about 20 minutes, after it has dried up wash off with warm water. This combo is beneficial because apart from benefiting from the antibacterial properties of the green tea leaf, the honey in the mixture also plays a very vital role in skin treatment.

7) PLAIN ORGANIC YOGHURT

This natural product on application to the skin helps maintain the pH of the skin. It can be applied to any portion of the skin, apply to infected portions and wash off with warm water after 15 minutes, it contains lactic acid properties that help in the process of skin exfoliation and removal of dead skin cells.

Other household products that can be used for treating acne and pimples include;

  • Coconut oil
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Cucumber
  • Bentonite clay etcetera.
