These spurious platforms circulating online, on social media and through messaging platforms are the handwork of scammers out to defraud unsuspecting members of the public of their money or get hold of their personal information including banking details.

The Federal Government through its relevant agencies will communicate information with communities and potential beneficiaries of its planned cash transfer program through proper credible and trusted channels.

If you have received calls or messages from anyone purporting to be working on behalf of the government, NASSCO, or the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO) report such a person to the police or call our toll-free line on 969 to report the claim. Don’t fall for scams.
