3MTT Phase 2: FG To shortlist Fellows On 29 February 2024 – Minister

The Federal Government has scheduled February 29th, 2024, as the date for announcing the second cohort of 270,000 fellows selected for the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) program. Dr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, shared this update at the conclusion of the initial phase of the 3MTTNigeria initiative.

During this phase, our first cohort underwent training across 12 skill areas, receiving positive feedback. Additionally, the prototype phase allowed us to learn and improve, paving the way for the next phase. As we move forward, we remain committed to delivering 3 million technically trained talents by 2027. Furthermore, job placements for our graduating fellows are in progress, with over 1,400 organizations expressing interest in hiring from our first cohort.
