On Monday the 23rd of August 2021 the Federal Government announced the commencement of the n-power batch C stream 1 at Abuja, the Federal capital territory of Nigeria.

The minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, Sadiya Farouq announced this on Monday, August 23 2021
The minister of humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development said that 450,000 applicants have been selected to benefit from the graduate component under batch stream 1.

Sadiya Farouq said that the graduate volunteers are entitled to a monthly allowance of 30,000 for a duration of one year, she also indicated that non-graduates beneficiaries are entitled to 10,000 monthly allowances for the duration of 9 months under batch C
She said” All beneficiaries are granted an appropriate starter pack for their trade to enable them to start their businesses in their chosen trade”
She further explained “Based on this approval, the portal was again opened in June 2020, and over 6 million new applicants were received. 1000,000 beneficiaries will be mined from this as the Npower batch C.
The batch C is divided into 2 streams. Stream C1 of 510,000 beneficiaries and stream C2 for 490,000 beneficiaries.”
