Are you among applicants that applied for the National Population Commission NPC adhoc staff recruitment for the conduct of the upcoming 2023 population and housing census? If your response is yes, then this update is for you.

We have seen a lot of you complaining that your NPC status still remain pending and the training for some of the adhoc staff is coming up immediately after the 2023 Governorship election probably on the 15th of March 2023. And some of you are now confused and asking questions whether to attend the training or not!

What we will tell you is that, if you are interested in participating in the upcoming census, try to attend the NPC Training in your LGA of application even if your status is pending, you might be considered for the training and get a replacement opportunity against approved applicants who failed to atend the training.

If you succeed in participating in the training, your status will change from pending to approved. A NPC applicant who applied as a facilitator who encountered similar issue has confirmed that during their training, her status was pending but it was approved later after she attended the training.

Training for the controllers has commenced! In furtherance to the preparation for the upcoming 2023 Population and Housing Census, the National Population Commission has commenced training of the Comptrollers in charge of the Commission’s Local Government Area offices nationwide yesterday the 7th of March 2023 on the critical processes of the 2023 Population and Housing Census, and the Comptrollers’ role in the census workflow.
