The West Africa Examination Council WAEC has launched a digital certificate platform where WAEC candidates and others can get Quick Access and obtain their WAEC certificate digitally across their mobile and web devices.
The WAEC digital certificate platform was launched today the 20th of October 2022. Around 2 million students sit the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) each year. The new digital certificate is available to those who have taken the exam as far back as 1999.

How the WAEC Digital Certificate Platform works
The first step to accessing and confirming candidates’ certificates is to visit the WAEC digital certificate platform link https://waec.org and Create an account. access your certificate, or confirm an existing certificate.
you will be able to share your Certificate, Recover your Candidate Number, Fund your Wallet and Make an Inquiry on the WAEC digital certificate platform.
This means WAEC candidates will now be able to access and share the original copies of their certificates from anywhere in the world.
This WAEC digital certificate will enable simplified processes for institutions and employers across the world to instantly check and verify qualifications online.
