Olalekan Ayodele Sipasi, a Nigerian man, claimed that his farming talents and academic achievement had never been recognized or acknowledged in his home country. He also stated that the recognition he has received in America in less than two years is incomparable to what he would have received if he was still in Nigeria.

Olalekan received a scholarship to Kansas State University for his PhD program. He mentioned that he received many accolades throughout his years as a student, however, in Nigeria he never received any form of recognition.

He revealed that he received an award in less than two years as a PhD student at Kansas State University College of Agriculture.

He received a $5,000 (N2,057,750) grant for his inputs that aided productive agriculture in 2021 and 2022.

As a result, the Nigerian guy praised his supervisor, Dr. Cowan, for his invaluable assistance during his research. They sometimes worked from 3 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. the next day, according to Olalekan.

He also expressed gratitude to those who had helped him along the way. Olalekan said that he will want even more assistance when he moves into the second part of his research.
