The slow pace of January Stipend Payment to the beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme has generated mixed reactions, especially among many of the beneficiaries who are yet to receive their January Stipend, since its commencement on April 13th, 2022.
Asides from the slow pace of the January Stipend Payment, some cleared payments have been on “Processing” on the beneficiaries’ profiles while some have outrightly failed.
The National Social Investment Management System had in a previous Npower Batch C January Stipend Payment Update clarified that the slow pace of the January Stipend Payment was due to the Easter Holidays, announcing that after the holidays, all formal activities of the ministry would fully commence.

The Npower Management on Wednesday further announced that all Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries whose payments are still “Processing” on their profiles, should be patient and wait for their Bank Accounts to be credited.
According to NASIMS, the “Processing” payment has been initiated and “processing” indicates that it has been connected to the digital payment platform and the possibility of their bank accounts getting credited is assured.
Speaking on “Failed” January Stipend Payments, the Npower management noted that all “Failed” January Stipend Payments would be reinitiated for processing and credited to the beneficiaries’ Bank Accounts.
