N-Power 9 Months Backlog Payment Begins November 2023

According to H.M. statement, payment of 9 months outstanding stipends for N-Power Batch C Beneficiaries will commence in November 2023. The Npower National Program Manager Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo also confirm this in his latest press statement.

According to the Npower National Program Manager, as a result of the temporary suspension of the program for thorough restructuring and forensic audit, funds have been recovered from the existing payment service providers and plans have been put in place by the program to commence disbursement of the 9 months outstanding stipends to beneficiaries from November, 2023. Payments will be carried out in installment.

The N-power manager also confirm the new name of the Npower program. He said while assuring all beneficiaries of complete transparency and accountability, in line with the new agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Npower program will be continued as Renewed Hope Job Creation Program (RHJCP) under the supervision of the Honourable Minister, Dr Betta Edu, which will be expanded to target 5 million beneficiaries in 5 years where 1 million youths will be absorbed each year under the graduate and non-graduate stream.

Npower beneficiaries are advised to stay tuned and watch out for instructions regarding their stipends as payment will commence soon.
