Always asking for more time,
Telepathically communicating a negation
“Once beaten twice shy”, as the saying goes like.
The sky getting dark and scarier
Is this love or I should wait for another?

With dazzling leaps, we crawl

Biography:
Emmanuel Chitsanzo Mtema is a Malawian writer who currently lives in Zomba, Malawi. He is a Science teacher at Sir Harry Johnston International School. His works have appeared in literary magazines such as The Scarlet Anatomy, Scribble magazine, and Nthanda Review.
