One of the leading stockbroking/investment banking firms located in Lagos is looking to hire an experienced Accountant. The dynamic candidate, with sound corporate relations and industry knowledge, will direct and oversee the financial activities of the firm, direct the preparation of current financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. The candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with 3 years of work experience in a stockbroking firm and must possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounting and Tax Matters of the Company
- Preparation of Weekly Net Capital, Monthly Net Capital, NGX’s, and SEC’s quarterly returns.
- Oversee the formulation of the annual budget and implementation
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
- Cashflow and financial management of the company

Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum academic qualification of a BSc. /HND in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field.
- An MSc.or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience as a financial officer
- Membership in relevant professional bodies and SEC Sponsorship will be an added advantage.
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Data analysis
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Ability to strategize and solve problems
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
