The NPC has updated the public on the screening and training of its field functionaries for the 2023 Population and Housing Census ad-hoc job recruitment. It is confirmed that the screening process for Field Coordinators, Supervisors, and Enumerators is free and no payment is required at any stage of the census process. If any act of extortion is encountered, it should be reported to the NPC’s social media platforms or by calling the NPC hotline at 07000236787.

The 2023 Census enumeration of persons will take place from March 29 to April 2, 2023. NPC Chairman, Hon. Nasir Ilsa Kwarra announced the census date after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on January 20, 2023, in Abuja.
