The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is an independent electoral body in Nigeria. It was established in 1998 to manage elections in the country. INEC is currently recruiting for the following positions:

- Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO): SPOs are responsible for overseeing the work of Presiding Officers (POs) and Assistant Presiding Officers (APOs) at polling stations. They must have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in election administration.
- Presiding Officer (PO): POs are responsible for the overall administration of polling stations. They must be able to read and write English, and they must have a good understanding of election procedures.
- Assistant Presiding Officer (APO): APOs assist POs in the administration of polling stations. They must be able to read and write English, and they must have a basic understanding of election procedures.
- Registration Area Technician (RATECH): RATECHs are responsible for the installation and maintenance of electronic voting machines (EVMs). They must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, and they must have experience working with EVMs.
- RAC Manager: RAC Managers are responsible for the overall administration of Registration Area Centers (RACs). They must have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in election administration.

To be eligible for these positions, applicants must meet the following general requirements:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a resident of the state in which they are applying to work
- Not be a member of any political party
- Not have made any statements or taken any actions that could be seen as supporting a particular political party
In addition to these general requirements, there are specific requirements for each position. For example, SPOs must have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience in election administration.
